Our Journey to Black Sheep Wagons
-
We’re Josh and Jessica, the husband-and-wife team behind Black Sheep Wagons. Based in the beautiful Lanark Highlands, Ontario, we live on a hobby farm with our trusty dog, Brewski, and a passion for the outdoors. We love hiking, camping, and hunting, and we’ve always dreamed of creating spaces that bring people closer to nature.
-
Before the pandemic, we spent our spare time flipping houses, transforming old properties into beautiful homes. When the world slowed down, we shifted gears and started building tiny homes, pouring our hearts into every detail. We even rent one on Airbnb—Highland House—where guests can experience the cozy charm of tiny living on our farm.
-
Inspired by our love for the Old West and our tiny home expertise, we launched Black Sheep Wagons. Our Prairie Schooner-style camping wagons blend nostalgic design with modern comfort, crafted with a trade-secret process for our signature arched hoops. Recently, we purchased 50 acres to create a tiny home nature resort, where we plan to showcase our wagons and share our love for sustainable, off-grid living with the world.
